Antonio Banderas introduced his wines from Anta Bodegas vineyard in Ribero de Duero at The SoBe Wine & Food Fest. He held a seminar, and showed off his Anta Banderas wines. There are six reds and one white.
George Clooney and Rande Gerber will be introducing a tequila they has been drinking for years. It will be labeled and named Casamigos, the name of Clooney's home in Mexico.
Drew Barrymore is planning sales of a Pinot Grigio from Italy named “Barrymore.”

Retired NBA Houston Rockets player, 7 foot 6 inch, Yao Ming, has sold out the first vintage of his “Yao Napa Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.” The first year's production of 300 cases of purchased grapes vinted and bottled under contract was all sold in China. The price a whopping $625 per bottle – wholesale. Chinese consumers are paying $1175 a bottle.
Drew Barrymore Joins the Wine Industry

Drew Barrymore, who has played in 61 films, has joined the wine industry with a winery she has purchased in Triveneto, Italy. The winery makes a Pinot Grigio with grapes purchased in Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezis Giula, and Veneto. She says the wine is crisp, fresh, subtle, refreshing, and complex. The Barrymore Wines label includes her grandfather's crest and art work by Shepard Fairey. She says her favorite part of the venture is getting “a private stash” of wine each year.
